I'm not going to be the one to tell you that the newer style like CCOT sells are still available at the dealer. ;)

The ones I bought I got off ebay for approx. half the price what CCOT sells them for. I don't know how much they are at a Toyota dealer, I guess I never even thought to check  . I figure half of what CCOT sells them for can't be to bad of a deal? I live in God's country in Northern, MN. Closest Toy dealer to me is a good 2 hour drive so I would buy them on line somewhere.

If I ever see a set like Pimps come up for sale, I will be sure to try to snap them up. I can't imagine the one's I bought will look to bad on the lv?

I'm confused now??

I like pimps pic and the white lettering is out?

Why would you put the black out now pimp?

I say black out. All of the factory literature shows black out as well. I bet Pimp's ride came with the white out and it really isn't that big of a deal. He would probably switch it but not worth the hassel for now.

it came that way, I am too cheap to swap em around. all my other cruisers are black out.

new caps are $50 for the set at the dealer, if you were close to that you did fine.

I have prolly another 1/2 dozen of the early correct caps....in good to OK shape.....just for a rainy day.

and of course the wheels on a 45LV should be black.....but gray looks better IMOP.

Black out, for sure.

I need to turn one of my solid (rear) oldstyle hub caps into a front style to replace this. What is the best way to cut out the center circle? Nibbler? Jigsaw? Torch?

Dave-

You want to find a sheet metal shop that has a circle cutter. Alot of HVAC shops have them for making caps, dampers, etc.

May also take it the hubcap shown to a musical instrument repair shop and have them straighten it.

These are the best I got, totally forgot about it.

I know its not a 45lv, but this is my 67 lwb on 33" x 9.50 with stock height suspension. I was considering a lift before the tires, but think I might leave it for now.

yep. according to those with WAY more ad literature from the era than I have, the roofs on the 63-67 FJ45's we got in the states were body colored.

Here's my LV before I changed the rear springs. 33x9.5 AT's fit under just fine. Definately black out. The rear springs I bought were thought to be almost new, but are used and wasted. Instead of raising it 2" it dropped it 0.75". Now I'm looking for rear spring options too.

Hole saw. You can pick one up at Home Depot for about $25. It will cut you a perfect hole.
