Guys, you need to remember that Paul will make it however you want it!! 3 or 4 hinges, no problem. You want an obscure part that you have a rusted out sample of, he can probably do it!

I wonder wondering how the ten he is making are setup. I assume the fixed nuts for the hinges are installed before the pieces are spot welded together.

You want an obscure part that you have a rusted out sample of, he can probably do it!

What is this rust thing are talking about Mine is just bent from resting against the Confer bumper

What are you needing or wanting? It would be nice to have the e-brake on the rear axle so it's reliable.

I've got a beat up gate that is likely fixable, figure it will need 5-6 hours of repair and still never be perfect. If the price is right I'll just replace it.

It's not if I have decided on a price, I need to finish them and see how much time etc I have in them, also cost of certified shipping crate (and who will make it) how much the crate weighs etc..export certificates, customs, broker etc etc..This is Central America. I cant just pop down the post office and send them off..And since CAFTA there's a huge difference in how it used to be and how it is now.
Mid next week I'll have some news..

Like Kurt, I have an old tailgate I could make work, but I am sooooo tired of doing body work on this old truck, the thought of a pristine new tailgate is VERY attractive. I originally asked Paul about the possibility of him making some more than a year ago. I am extremely pleased that he is now stepping up.

Nice product. As close to factory as you can get. I think Bucaraeuso (sp) used one in his 45 write up and the only issue was some differences in the latch openings. The biggest problem I can foresee with this product is you won't want to use it and get a dent in it..

Again, very, very nice product.

I would be happy to buy just the panel. Everything else can easily be produced here, or reused. It is the panel on mine that is shot. Would make shipping a lot easier.

Maybe AWLTEQ could buy a dozen or so. That is the one piece of a truck box he can't reproduce.
