Might a better deal if they were late model included the top, windshield, seats and the 83 plus dash insert. These are all pre 79 from what I can see. The latch for the doors appear to be the thinner 74 and earlier. Looks like the far right has the bracket for a padded dash which was 68 and later in the US market. The second from the right shows a shadow that might be the 73 to 80 steering column. So maybe 73/74 era. The door hinges have been stripped, doubt you find many things still attached. These looked striped to the bone. The top and seats aren't easy to find most everything else parts from a 40 could be used. Still need to come up with a box or make a flatbed. Then have to deal with getting a title which I understand is suppose to be done when imported on foreign models.

I spoke to this guy early on before this was posted here. The late model cab is powder coated a dark grey. He has no fenders, no doors, and at the time no top. He did recontact me and offered a top for it. He did send pics of two different beds that had not been prepped. By my standards they were rusty for something out of Saudi.

He wanted $11.5K for the above described items...

Things are trending towards the crazy, wont be able to drive or use these 45's be to valuable. If you have one it is good thing, but people that want one may be out of reach before long.

When I saw this I was thinking cool some good possibility's for someone but for $5000 for a cab and frame, not so. I did a bit of math and comparison to the 45s in Australia that are for sale and mostly complete with good prices. With shipping to the US you could have almost $5000 into the deal and have a complete runner.
Wheeler Dealers

That's a completely different rig/guy

I am in no way defending that $5k tub and frame price...it's nutz....

but MOST Oz rigs are beat to s***....AND you have to walk up to the wrong side of your rig every day

Your absolutely right they are well used and beat up being that they were one of Australia's premium farm and work rigs back in the day, but there's lots of them.
We all have seen beat to s*** rigs rejuvenated to near new, that's what we ToJo nuts do.
As for the wrong side, that's just makes it easy to get your mail from the street mail box.
But 5 G's for a frame and cab - no.

The frames and tubs are actually located down near to Los Angeles.

I was talking with him about one of the tubs last week and the next moment he sold it to someone else.

I've asked for pics of some of the other tubs but it hasn't been easy to get detailed info from him. He said he used to run some sort of Landcruiser business once and these are the parts left over. He has some RHD tubs and some LHD tubs, mostly 70's vintage with one from the 60's.

Not sure if it is worth it really. I tend to be put off by people who won't answer your questions fully or respond to them - start to wonder what they're not telling me. I've asked for pictures of the other tubs several times, to no avail so far.

No it's not. The picture in the above link is one of the pictures he sent me in a private email. Same guy, same pics.

Fwiw, i bought a frame from Henry, had the same reservations, sounded scetchy, but needed the damn frame! I hooked up the trailer and drove 6 hours to his secluded house( shack) in the mountains of frazier park( just north of los angelas) i was pleasantly surprised with Henry. We hung out, talked cruisers and even drank a beer! He is eccentric, and prices are high, but somehow he sources these rare parts. He had diesel engines, lhd troopy tub, lwb 45 cabs and beds, all lined up outside in the weeds!! He is the same guy with the grey powder coated 45. He told me hes not good at selling? Those recent 45 cabs are new, i bought from him about 2 years ago . I do think his prices are high, but supply and demand i guess?
