My 1967 FJ45 long bed body is almost done at the body shop and they want to mount it up to the frame. I purchased the body mount kit SOR sells a few years ago, and have intermittently tried to figure out the puzzle of what goes where without any luck. I'd like to get this figured out before I take my frame to the body shop. I contacted SOR, they were no help and I've started threads in the 45 forum and have not received much support. Unfortunately the original mounts were complete garbage after 50 years of use, so I have no pre existing reference points.
I'm hoping I might get more exposure here. Can anyone help me know which mounts go where?

Thanks in advance,
Justin

Justin,

These are some original rear cab mounts I sold a while back. The bolt is long and travels through the cab bulkhead down through the cab and the mounts get sandwiched between the frame mount. Never dealt with the sor kit but looks like you can use what you have there.

Sweet. Any way you could please measure the thickness of those rubber mounts and bolt length?

I did find this set bit $325 + shipping from Australia is steep

I bought OEM body mounts years ago. When I purchased the 45 bought a number parts that were for the 45 only. Remember new interior light was $10. Corner glass and weatherstriping were around $25 apiece. The tailgate and 4X4 emblem had just gone NLA. Not sure I still have the receipt for the rear cab body mount but they weren't that expensive. Today if that set is OEM I would probably buy it if I didn't have one. Today this is definitely a pay to play hobby. Just be thankful that some parts are available at all.

Thank you. The set I referenced in Australia is not OEM, They say "suitable". I know all about pay to play . I will keep searching but at least for now I have a fix. Thanks very much for the reply.

Only thing I know I am missing is Throttle cable and holder...

The 45 mounts can mostly be replicated with a 40 set and a 55 set. I believe that's what I used on chefs truck. Or it appears sor now has a 45 kit
