Alright gentlemen…your sage advice would be appreciated.

So…after several years of trying to track down missing parts for my SWB & LWB trucks I was recently offered some parts.

Thoughts on pricing?

From seller:

“1 qty-Elephant Horn $100
2 qty-Red Seat belts $300
2 qty- LPB Tailgate chains $500
1 qty-LPB Tire carrier $500
1 qty- 6000 series Ignition $80
2 qty-LPB Wiper arms $200
1 qty-D40 Carb $200

$1880 plus shipping.
If you take it all I will do $1500 plus shipping.”

Seems to be fair pricing when you're talking about rare and 45 stuff. I'm guessing the LBP arms are same for the SWB. I'd be interested.....I'll PM ya. Happy Holidays everyone.

Just to be clear I’m looking at purchasing these parts for my ‘67 FJ-45. I don’t see these parts pop up for sale often so I was trying to gauge (based on the opinions of others) if the pricing was fair.

Not sure when the wiper arms for the 45s moved from the TNK arms with clamping bolt on the side to the ones that have the nut that screws on the shaft (and if they are still TNK brand). But if they are the TNK ones that’s a fair current price.

You can buy a brand new 6000 series ignition for 60.

The horn is right there at what 3 are on ebay
The chains and carrier seem a little high but then again if they are available and useable the price is what it is.

There’s a rebuilt d40 on eBay for 450 so 200 is there but if you send it off and have rebuilt you’ll be more than 450 in it. Just my thoughts. But as far as parts total I go with a deal is good when both parties are happy.

@sofj45 thanks for the link!

Paul,

Glad to see you’re still active here while laid up with your shoulder! Thanks for the incite!
The ones in the picture below are the wipers the seller has for sale.
