The front half of my LWB Truck floor is rusty. Rear half is fine. I am looking for a long shot of someone who has a parts vehicle with part of a good floor section. I do not want to go with a flat steel bed or diamond plate. I am about to order one from one of the Heritage Sheet Metal Dealers but still have sticker shock. I know its a long shot but wanted to explore all solutions before ordering the new one. Doing a full restoration so correct floor is needed. Thanks!!

I have a similar issue, but I was going to start with hacking out a small piece and keeping it handy , to test against other vehicles. I'm sure there's a toy mini truck or some other import out there with the same corregations.

cheers,
ryan

The bed in back or the floor of the cab? if it's the bed in back have you ever considered a bead roller? You can roll your own panels for the floor.

Bull, Unfortunately I found the posts you mentioned all ready about Lomusass. I contacted him and now you must go through 1 of 4 dealers to buy his products. As you can imagine they have marked up his items and now its really expensive. However it seems that it is the only way to get a new quality panel. Its a shame because I could get by with only a part of the pickup bed floor. I am about to bite the bullet and place the order. Thanks for the help!

I've had one of the bed floor kits from Heritage ordered for several months, so I won't be using my original floor section. Quite a bit of it is in pretty good shape and could be cut up into pieces to repair other beds. Shipping the whole thing in one piece probably isn't practical. However, I do plan to go to the Lone Star Round Up at Katemcy rocks in Mason TX next month and could bring it to that if you know someone else going to that event that could haul it back for you. I am not opposed to cutting it into several smaller pieces and helping out several fellow Cruiserheads. If I could cut it into 4 pieces and sell each for about $25, I'd be a happy camper.

Let me know if anyone is interested and I can dig up some pics.

Marvin
