This is always the best place to look for parts so here is what I need.

I need a mid 60's FJ45 frame, '66 would match the cab.

I am pretty flexible on the price but west coast area would be best.

I have a near perfect cab and a new bed so I don't want to register it as anything other than a 45.

assuming you want a lwb frame? but not certain if you want a swb frame.

I don't have either, just for clarification.

Yes, LWB. I simply do not like the look of the shortbed. Thanks for asking. I would use an LV frame if I can find one of them.

LV=shortbed

the long wheelbase is well............ longer.

All this time I thought the LV was the wagon style? I have an LV frame but I am using a Stout bed for that one. Have to move the axle bumpout back 11" for that.

LV is the 4 door wagon but it is the same wheelbase as a swb truck, which is an LP

the longwheel base truck is an LPB

By the way the short bed looks best!!!

Not sure if the frame was different but there was two types of SWB pickups. The earlier one had a fixed top and cab was a little shorter. The later had a removable top and the cab is the same as the LWB pickup. It's possible to use the later SWB frame and cut down a bed. It gives the same general look with less rear hang over for better departure. Something the LWB lacks.

Thanks Mark, great meeting you and Bill and it was fine on the rack all the way home! BTW, send me your address so I can send the piece we spoke about.

Dan, I'm glad you made it home safe with the frame.

Mark
