Big shout out to @Greg_B, @bj70_guy, @kim, @REDREEFER. Spent a rainy day pulling Phil's 40 and Russell's 40 out of the blackberries

Russell's 40 is going to be stored over at Kim & Brenda's. That 40 didn't go without a fight, the leaf spring perch is torn completely of the frame in the rear. It came up on the trailer dog legged and slipped between the frame rails of the trailer

More excitement at Kim's, it slipped off the ramp

Then it was the "Ducks" turn, much less excitement being that all driveline components are in tact

I'm taking the Duck home, she actually looks to be in pretty good shape considering she's been sitting for 10+ years (I think). Really excited to be wrenching on this truck again. I bought this 40 in 1988 and it's stayed with me for 30 years

A true recovery outing with loppers and winches!

They sure don’t like sitting eh.

And of course TODAY was dry, sunny, and warm! :bang::lol::lol:

That was a really fun day. Impressive that all those 15+ year old BFG muds still held air... at least long enough to get loaded on a trailer. Also impressive that my chinch actually worked!

So glad the Duck is finally going to get some love. Seeing it sit out in the elements like that was like seeing an abused dog in one of those ****ing Sarah McLachlan SPCA commercials.

Get after it Phil, can't wait to see it brought back to it's former glory!

What a great day! You'd think cruiser hounds like yourselves would have been experts at this but that look on Rob's face and Kim's laugh says it all! Sorry I missed it; would have been a hoot!

Actually still had air in them when I picked it up at Kim’s this morning, put 30psi in them at the shop in Falkland. Came back via the canyon, quite a pleasant drive, rain let up around Ashcroft. Stopped in Kamloops and power washed the green slime of her

Lots of meat left on those tires, guess you may as well run em till they wear out :D
 for the de-sliming!

I remember when those were parked there. I've been gone from the lower mainland for 10 years, I think its closer to 15 Phil
