Why not price them here?? What could it hurt...i agree with everyone else about the nasty surprise of not being able to sell them due to the fact the are Gasoline.....

If you are wanting to pay for the shipping and purchase cost of your "permanent driver" i think you could do that by selling the three others here just as easy....unless you already have buyers lined up with deposits already payed.

I don't know about the maritime shipping laws or african port laws but....just because our port lets you ship them out that way the african port might say you broke rules and must pay. I would definatly get everything lined up; Buyers for the 3, Import rules reguarding selling of 3 of them, and anything else before i ever put my cruiser(let alone 4 of them) on a "slow boat to africa" with the possibility of paying even more fines/fees.

check it out.

oh yeah i think a good complete power wash would allow you to ship them on board rather than in a container.

I dunno - 2-3 weeks on the deck of a ship, getting a daily salt spray? I bet it gets places you couldn't hope to find with a power washer. I'd do everything I could to avoid that situation.

fire by friction

I had a friend who almost started a fire in a U-Haul by having a vehicle inside. The car was rubbing on a piece of furniture with every bounce and the wood got hot. When they checked it (after 50-100 miles) the whole truck was filled with smoke.

TARPAULIN

They get a nice salt bath waiting on the dock in Yokohama for two months too:D

who is RoRos?

It looks like I can only get two LC per 40' container. if I am able to get a 48 ' container then I could do three.

Each LC is approx 16' x 7' wide which gives it 4" +/- wiggle room. All vehicles are chained down and blocked so they do not move when the seas are rough.

RORO = Roll On Roll Off. Type of ship/method of shipping where you do just like it says: Drive the truck on at the beginning of the trip and drive off at the end of the journey.
