Looking for a stock bench seat for a 1972 or older 40.

I've got one at my place in Nevada that may come out for some later FJ40 bucket seats, but I need to find the later seats first. It may be a while. Hopefully Brandon at Classic Cruisers will have a set. What's your time frame?

No big hurry since mine is still in pieces. Probably late winter or early spring I might get mine running.

I just posted in the Wanted section for some bucket seats. I'll be out in Nevada before too long and will take some photos of the bench seat. It's in very good shape because the PO added canvas seat covers, and the vehicle hasn't been driven much since I bought it in '99. I also have one rear bench seat.

I have a split style bench from my 71, like what you're looking for, but it has no upholstery on it.

I am in TX, and can get it as far north as Texoma within the next few months, if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer but I have the seat frame from my 72. The cost of having it redone is more than what I have seen nice seats listed for or even the Procar buckets. Bucket seats are an option but I am not crazy about them in a 40.

After the $$ of having my fronts blasted and coated, I understand completely. I even reused my old upholstery as it was in good condition and would save a few $$.
