Been shopping for the best price on an OME heavy/heavy lift and decided to call 4 wheel parts since they are right down the road... really just to get a price on install. Come to find out they carry OME....so I asked for a quote...see below. I know everyone here has their preference for where to buy parts but wanted to share none the less....since I'm more about the best price wins. May help someone that's looking for lifts like I am. To be honest, I didn't even think about them before since they're so heavy on pro-comp/rancho stuff.

Seems to be a little cheaper on majority of parts and the cincher for me is not paying the $125-$150 in shipping - if you have one close.

Hope it helps...maybe even for price matching.

CS004F Fronts - $96.99 x 2 = $193.98
CS005RA/B Rears - $155.99 x 2 = $311.98
OMESB1 Spring Bushing Kit - $21.99 x 2 = $43.98
OMEU51 Front U Bolts - $9.99 x 4 = $39.96
OMEU59B Rear U Bolts - $9.99 x 4 = $39.96
OMEGS2 Front Greasable Shackles - $91.99
OMEGS1 Rear Greasable Shackles - $103.99

Total = $825.84 + $68.13 tax + $50 handling = $943.97

*FK08 Anti Inversion - $9.99 x 4 = $39.96 (if you don't run greasable shackles)

no shocks????

seems in the right range though

Ha...i knew that would come out first....I already have shocks so didn't get a price. But hopefully helps for guys that want to save on shipping and didn't know they carried OME.

i discovered the same thing here in Charlotte a few months ago. I am with you on not having to pick up the shipping.

You might want to check on how many bushings you are getting. I paid about that a bag (~$23) but if it is the same package (6 per), you will need 4 of them, not 2.

Take a look at this thread, and pay attention to Kurt's post (#42). https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/201928-arb-dakar-spring-problems.html
(taking the time to post this illustrates why Kurt is well respected on here)

You will want to make sure you get the OME bushings (which you are) and fix the sleeve inserts in place before the install. I will soon be putting on my OME bushings, and tacking the sleeves in place on mine. :doh:

yeah, i'm having them install an OME lift for me on thursday. was gonna do it myself, but their prices were so reasonable, i figured why not.

ARB=OME=IPF all the same Co.

Thanks RockDoc - I'll make sure to get one per spring.

Swimfan - If you don't mind me asking, what did they quote you on install - told me $400. I want to install myself but wouldn't want to attept in my driveway here in Dallas. Bad thing is, it's a 5hr drive to my Dad's shop where it would be a h#$l of a lot easier. But with gas prices, that's roughly a $200 trip. Trying to weight my options here. Thx

You sure you have the right length shock? I am thinking the ones with the lifts are longer or have more travel.

You could also price a kit through Bull on here as well.
