Its with a heavy heart that I must sell my love. I unfortunately must take a short hiatus from the 4wheelin community to try to possibly get myself into a situation (financially and home) where I can maybe multiply. That being said, here are the specifics.
1996 Lexus LX 450. 224K miles. Silver in color. It has been in my posession for a little less than a year, but I have done some maintenance, and the previous owner did a ton. (have all paperwork). That being said, this was a Texas truck, that was owned by a wonderful family that really took care of it. NO RUST ANYWHERE
The good:
- Factory 3x lockers, with factory center lock button. (not a relabeled button)
- Heat/AC work perfect, AC compressor replaced by previous owner. Rear heat works perfect
-Rear washer and wiper work perfect
-New Starter
-professionally installed 4.88 gears
-Brake MC replaced with new unit
-Previous owner replaced brakes all around
- Older style Larger radiator. OEM Toyota installed in past 6 months
-New distributor
-Oil pump cover O-ring replaced
-crank gasket replaced
-valve cover gasket replaced
-New Toyota belts
-probably other new and replaced parts, I have to go through the old invoices, will update the thread
-Previous owner had a shop do a full front axle rebuild
-2x power dual cycle battery, less than a year old. $350 battery. 8 year warranty
-almost set up for dual batteries, washer bottle moved, just need a tray and wiring
- Smittybuilt 12K winch with synthetic rope
-TJM bumper, close to the ARB commercial bumper which was built to fit the warn 8724
-2 Rigid dually pods mounted to bumper
-LED headlight bulbs (high and low beams)
-driver and passenger seats professionally recovered using Landcruiser Heaven covers.
-new arm rest covers will be included, not installed yet
-Interior led lighting
-All door upholstery in perfect contition, no stains or tears
- Dash mounted single Din CB radio that has been Peaked and tweaked. Includes handheld mic and a firestick
- single din Pioneer head unit
- all door speakers have been upgraded, unsure of model
-Pioneer 12 inch subwoofer and accompanying amplifier
- Sub and box fit with third row folded down
- origional matching 3rd row seating in perfect condition
- origional Lexus first aid kit and Tool kit
- Bump it off road step sliders with catalytic converter protection (look like factory steps)
-Bump it off road rear dual swing out bumper. Passenger side has the spare tire, driver side is empty, up to you to fill it with gas can holder, cooler holder, bike rack, etc.
-Brand new unused Cooper ST Maxx 315 spare, just mounted never been under vehicle
-Cooper ST Maxx 315 tires. about 50% life left
-Brand new OME J springs in front and Heavy springs in the rear (level ride height)
- New Bilstein 5100 long travel shocks
-New OME Steering Stabilizer
-New "555" Tie rod ends. From Cruiser Outfitters
-Metaltech sway bar extensions
-bike holder on roof rack
-all windows and door locks work
-no sunroof leaks
-NO RUST ANYWHERE
-all window molding present and not chipped up
-Trasheroo included
-Hi-Lift Xtreme included
-Slee in cab winch control kit included, as well as a headlight harness
-Interior in wonderful condition. No droopy headliner, and all trim in great condition
-no chips in windshield or leaks
-Witts end Unsused bushing press tool will be included also
The Bad:
- Have not done castor correction for 3 inch lift. Drives fine, just havent gotten around to doing it
-Light Pin stripes, most of which can be removed by a good detail
-One tree swipe on the driver side rear fender. About the size of a box of Mike and Ikes. I havent waxed it to make it smaller yet because it is currently snowing in west TN.
-200k original motor and HG. I have had absolutely no issues though and it has been my daily driver to work and back. Has done wonderfully in the recent ice and snow.
-one crack on dash pad above the gauge cluster
-Tires will need to be replaced in a year or so.
I am optimistically asking $16K. I will speak to serious buyers though.
Here are photos, I apologize about the dark photos, I will update the thread and can send photos/videos or facetime with potential buyers to show them the truck and see the locker activation and motor running. It has been snowing in my town for the past couple of days so its not as shiny as it usually is. It will be when you buy it though, I can promise you that.
