On the drivers side... my 3rd row seat is half way loose but stuck. The outside... the part closest to the wheel well is loose... the hooks on the inside wont release... what should I do?

Sometime if the seat is not slid into the correct spot, it will not release.

Are you sliding the seat all the way back before pulling up?

There is a lever on the side, twist it then slide the seat all the way back, and you should be able to lift straight up to remove the seat. Reverse the process to put the seat back in.

Also... I really dont know if I could get the wheel side to completely back in or not. The seat will twist side to side about 3 -4 inches . The seats had been out for a few years.

Not sure I can get the seat to slide back... especially since half the seat is not attached... but I will try that

Here are some picts of my predicament

Mine was like this. There is a cable on the left side of the seat with this small spherical ball attached. Pull on this towards the outside of the trunk, while pulling up the seat. Should manually disengage

There’s a metal cable under the seat with a little ball on it. When you move the lever it pulls the cable and releases the inner lock. Sometimes the cable gets stretched and won’t unlock it so you have to pull it manually. I’ll take pics of mine tomorrow morning to send to you if it’s still stuck. I just used some needle nosed pliers to pull it to release. Had the same issue u have.

I'm also having this issue, did you ever take a picture of the cable? I looked around but did not notice it.
