I would like to get one of these 3rd brake lights:

from a 2003 and up 70 series troopy and pickup. Nice and bright, LED, fits the curve of the roof perfectly as it is the same angle on a 70 series. Mine came from an LX 70 series, so it is the same colour grey as they bumperettes

Pictured in this thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=8622262&postcount=14

Any ideas how I could get one in the United States? Or can anyone tell me a p/n?

Thanks!

With all the bits and pieces to put together the whole light, you would look at $250 maybe to assemble the whole thing. You could probably get a universal light for less:meh: Truck cap lights are pretty cheap, and you can get an adhesive version so you don't have to drill holes in your top.

Part out will be tough in NA, not very many 2003+ troopies running around much less part out rigs. Akella can get likely get the parts new though

For your parts scrounging efforts

81570-60030, lamp Assy
81572-60060, gasket
81977-60030-B2, black external housing

Thank you!

Just a note that any early second hand ones you may find often have dim or LEDs that don't work , also they can be difficult to remove and sometimes break the cover getting it off .
You could order one from a VDJ 76 in Australia but a less interesting fact is the led ass is made in China .
