any of your tech gurus out there know of an app that will track multiple devices (phone, pad, pod, etc.) on one map?

For those of us making a long trek, it may be interesting to track everyone converging onto one location. :meh:

Waze will also do this via Facebook. Everyone friends up and then it show the convergence on an address in Real-time.

I will see about meeting up on Thursday, but I will be in angelfire wed night.

Getting pretty stoked about the trip. Spent the weekend wiring up the fridge/2nd battery. Next weekend she gets a new timing belt and transfer case seal, aaaaand the next weekend I'll wire up the light bar and inverter....I hope I have enough weekends left.

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll post my route but I will be in big bend/angelfire the days before.

I also want to extend an invitation, we will be heading to canyonlands/Moab on Sunday or Monday, we would welcome some other travelers.

Below are my two route options. Prefer to go the southernmost route, via I20, as it does save a couple hours. But I'll drive up to Little Rock and hit 40 if that's a route that a caravan winds up taking.

Let's Give this a shot:

Click the Link: http://goo.gl/maps/fOhRT
Click Edit on the top left
Click Get Directions
Box A: Your Hometown (Not your address)
Box B: "Ouray, CO"
Scroll to the bottom of the directions and click "Save to My Maps"
Save to "100s in the Hills Routes 2013"
Click "Save"

I entered Grand Junction as an example.

If this works as planned I'll add it to the first post.

"100s in the hills..." does not show up in the drop down menu for me to save.

i just did it and '100's in the Hills' did show up in the drop down under 'save to my maps'.

Worked for me. I added my route from San Diego.

Interesting that it worked for bluecruiser and not others. I know you need to be signed in to Google to edit...... I tried it using another Google account I have and it worked too. It should work the same way as the Mud Member Map.

First no iPhone, and now this? You might be a half bubble off plum. :D Worked for me.

EDIT: I misread....it WORKED for you. I thought it didn't. Although, it did take both of us about 30 minutes to figure out how to open/assemble a Rotopax spout and actually have fuel come out. We only lost about 1/2 gallon down the side of my truck.....

cool, looks like it worked for me.

Worked for me as well. It helps if you logon to your google account BEFORE clicking the link Jon posted.

How did you guys get your avatars to show up next to your route?

What's a more scenic route from San Diego? Up through St George Utah or up through Phoenix and take the route that Blue Cruiser is taking?

I lived in Yuma for a while and I've taken both routes. St George is pretty neat with the red stone and high desert look. But going through Sedona and Flagstaff..... then up into Colorado is better IMO. Better scenery, for longer periods. Vegas to St George is pretty blah and I70 eastbound when you leave the mountains in Utah, all the way to Grand Junction, is like driving on the moon.

Looks like someone is a full bubble off. Guys, we really need to start moving the needle on this and run it to ground. :ban:

I blame you..... I'm holding down a full time job, raising babies, busy with Rising Sun and TLCA responsibilities..... Plus this little grassroots 100 Series camping thing....You run a tight ship. It's like putting socks on a rooster. ;)
