3FE with a knock (1 Viewer)

Hey guys a while back my son's FJ60 developed a knock so we replaced the motor with a used 3FE. I could never pinpoint the knock but guess it was a rod or crank bearing getting ready to go. Having said that the old 3FE is sitting on an engine stand and I was wondering if it worth anything to anyone for parts? I was going to rebuild it but haven't the time and now I need to make room in the garage.Located in Costa Mesa, CA. No shipping please.

I'm in San Diego and am looking for a head for my 1991 FJ80 3FE.
If the head is compatible I would definitely take the motor off your hands.

are you selling off a 3FE or the engine that came out of an FJ60, which had a 2F in it? the 3FE is an EFI motor whereas the 2F is a carb'd motor. the FJ60 had the 2Fs and the FJ62s had the 3FEs. there is a difference.
