3FE throttle cable routing. This can’t be right?? (1 Viewer)

Seems like an odd route for the throttle cable to take. I thought it ran to the front of the engine, then to the box on the passenger side?

That is wrong in so many ways...

…ok, confirmation is what I was looking for. It even has the bracket on the front of the valve cover, for what I assume is to hold that cable

The only thing I can think of, is this is NOT an OEM cable and is top short to route to the front of the motor?
