I am in the process of replacing my 3FE. My first idea was to rebuild the engine completely but after speaking with Proffitt's and ACC I was talked out of doing the rebuild. They say that the rebuilt engine will never last as long as a factory built and recommended that I swap in a running 3FE.
Using the running motor is saving me a ton of $$. Picked up the long block for $450 with good compression, now Im going through and replace all the gaskets.
Just my $.02.
Oh yea and to answer your question, Man-A-Fre has a couple rebuild kits:

I google searched "3FE build kit" and clicked "Feeling Lucky"
