I've been searching all over for info on this. Has anyone had experience installing a block heater in a 3FE engine?
Part numbers? Tips?

back in the day my old man would put a light under the hood with it closed and run it all night during the winter in his fj62 to help it stay warm and start in the mornings. Looking back I am not sure why he would have done thus as we lived in salt lake utah and I don't think it got below 0 degrees f very often.

Look into these. No experience, but this is what I turned up in my search for "winterizing" items for my 1991 3FE. Good luck.

Block Heater: Kat’s Heaters 11465 (C0140-00162, C0140-00069)

Battery Heater: Kat’s Heaters 22500

Oil Pan Heater: Kat’s Heaters 26150

Managed to get the part from a Toyota dealer for an okay-ish price.
"Engine Heater - Engine Block Type"
C0140-00162

If anyone has a good line on where to source either an OEM or alternate brand the block heater on my 3FE blew out last weekend and I need to source a replacement. After 15 minutes of Googling I did find the above part number at a Canadian OEM parts house and I emailed them to see if it's actually available but I'm all ears if folks have any recommendations.
