Wondering if anyone has toyed with the idea of 3D printing a new front door pocket to accept and relocate a larger speaker for the front. I would probably opt to sand and paint or wrap it in vinyl. Would anyone with a printer be willing to take this on?
on my LX it will not accept sprakers that stick out any further on the front in the factory location. They would smash into the interior dash molding. The after market speakers covers on my new front speakers were slightly larger than the factory covers and they leave an indent on the molding.
Rears should be no problem. Could probably go bigger diameter too.
