So i pull the 70 out of the garage to get to a few things and pack (leaving tomorrow early) and I notice a drip onto the driveway. Fawk me, It looks to be the water pump. It doesn't seem to be leaking very much while running only a little bit when it shuts down.

Michael, Brett or anyone esle have a 3B water pump they could bring to moab. The part comes up good in the US sytem I just won't have it for at least a week.

Thanks
-Wes

I just changed out my waterpump for a new one as a preventative measure, and kept the old one.
the old one was running just fine, but is rusty.

Michael could take it, no problem. Let me know if that helps, I think I even have a second gasket, but I would need to check for that.

let me know soon, so I can bring it over to Michael.

Jan

Sure, I would be glad to take it as a precausionary measure.. No Worries, just let us know.

Cheers,

Michael

I think that may be the best I can do short notice. Thanks Jan, If you could get it to micheal to bring out that would be great. I'm hoping it can wait til I get back but you never know. I'll be sure to reimburse you if I need it or get it back to you if I don't

Thanks
-Wes
Good thing my buddy just bought an 05 duramax and wants to get an early tow in with it. He's decided to pull me out there and hang out a few days. although I may be spoiled after this tow rig thing.

OK, I'll get the old pump to Michael-don't worry about reimbursement, I kept it exactly for such an occasion. I'll find out in the evening if I have a spare gasket, otherwise you have to find that somewhere else-should be in stock in canada.
cheers,
Jan

Hi wes,
the old pump is with Michael now, and I found a gasket as well-it is in the box.
have fun in moab,
Jan

Jan, PM me your address so I can get your spare pump back to you. Much appreciated. It ran out there fine and back. Of course with a spare things usually don't go wrong :)
