sure...no problem, the 90 plus $7,400 cash:)

WTF?? I thought everyone wanted a diesel under thier Christmas tree:D It has been suggested that maybe it's my crappy re-sized photo? Here is a better shot of the engine:

Also, I am open to parting this all out IF I can get a commited buyer for the engine first...either with or w/o the AXT. Just a thought

Here are some more pics for those who might be interested. Sorry for the large pics, but it helps the prospective buyer see how clean it is.

how much for the t-case?

$1,500 for the Tcase IF the 3B & AXT are sold first...I have someone interested in the motor, just need a taker for the turbo.

I need $2,200 for the AXT with all related parts

Wes, if you want it, you have dibs. why did I know this was going to be easier to part than sell whole....so much for convenience:flipoff2:

Convenience? It's much more convenient to ship the parts separately than as a whole :)

What Brett hasn't mentioned is that the t-case was rebuilt by Mudrak recently (how many miles since, Brett?) when the Marks crawler gears installed, so it is in primo shape. This the desirable 38 mm idler case with flange bolt patterns that also fits a late 60 series.

The turbo is also a recent install, so it is an almost new unit.

Dave.

good point Dave...the Tcase was rebuilt by Mudrak when he installed the Marks gears about 10,000kms ago...so it's got like 6,000 miles on it. And the AXT was new 20kms ago or (12k miles) so it's pretty new also.

You should go into sales Dave:)

PM me on the turbo. I might be interested too.

no offense but, a little spendy for the t-case don't ya think? i'd like it but it's way too steep for me.

Ya think? have you priced Marks gears lately?

Lets assume that a stock 38mm split case is worth $0 (which is of course not the case). Here's what my set up would cost you:

Marks 2.8 gear set - $1,700 with exchange, duty & shipping
Master kit -$225
Shop labor at $85/hr - $637

That's $2,562 total. So I'm asking about a grand less than what it would cost assuming you already had a 38mm split case lying around...and this case has less than 6k miles on it. Are you sure your'e comparing apples to apples?

That is definitely not the case :D

A used stock 38 mm idler split transfer case ought to fetch $250-350 on the board right now. Got mine from BigSur for $300 IIRC. Add $200 to $250 for an aftermarket rebuild kit (Mudrak usually uses factory parts) complete with bearings.

Looking at the costs you spent on the transfer, I'd keep it for the 62, Brett. Then you can sell the transfer out of the 62 to Vette60 for $300 :D

Dave

then it seems that the atlasII would be the way to go since they have come down in price, and are about the same now....and that gear set retails for $1350. not tryin' to rag on ya, but i don't think you'll sell it at that price, besides, why not keep it? why would you get rid of it anyway if it is so great?
