Ya know-I think all is there but the CAT-but its at the muff shop right now. Can;t get a quote out of the guy for the life of him.

Thanks for playing the supplier-you're work made wiring a relative cinch!

He is REALLY happy with the result-next up is SOA.

glad I could be of some assistance...I tried to make the wiring job for him as easy s possible .
There is one thing I thought of....tell him to check the rubber vacum lines that supply vacum to the egr system...I think there is a ball bearing in there to block the line as the EGR valve was acting up and we deactivated it that way .

Only to the extend of the law here. As for the year of the 40 is Dec 1977 (1978 model year) I do not need cats and since the 3F-E has it's O2 sensore pre-cat I can get away without them. I have disabled the complex EGR workings for just lack of space in the engine compartment and made it go off simple port vacuum (I worked with a local tech to get the right mix).

Air rail will probably be removed IF I can pass local emissions w/o it, right now it's not running the air pump, just simply running the alternator.

Wiring at least for me WAS a PITA, but as my brother said, greatly eased by your markings  . Fuel pump and fittings were very difficult as well as the offset water pump to where the 2F's was.

To keep the convo on topic, my FIRST idea was a 2H I found in California, but they were asking an arm & leg and still had no idea waht it was and didn't want to budge. I thought a 2HJ40 would be cool. That 3FJ40 is going to be simply better once it has a decent exhaust!
