11 teeth.
I'd plate is gone on the rebuilt one but I took a pic of another 3b alternator that is identical.
I ran the rebuilt starter in my previous truck for a year.
The stickers munched but number is:
28100-56110

That starter would be compatible with a 3B that has an iron bellhousing.
Is the difference the teeth, the clocking or both?
Bolt pattern, and clocking are different. Teeth are the same. 2L and 2H teeth and motor are also the same.
You can interchange the nose of all these starters. 1HZ and 1HD too except those have 12 teeth so you need to mix and match.

28100-56080, but yours may be compatible...
Maybe Lynchmob knows the difference? I’m not sure what clocking I need. I didn’ Check when I pulled mine. I should have taken more pictures.

This is my current starter.
It is an Aussie aftermarket from Jaylec Automotive...
That number appears to be for a bj42 which has an iron bellhousing. My guess is that it will work but its been years since i worked on a bj42

Looks like it was rebuilt already
Looks like a Denso but some parts didn’t fit, like the plunger.
