This is coming from a Falken Wildpeak AT3W, for any impressions.
Supporting Mods:
Beaten pinch weld
Wheelers extended bump stops
Small ~1" sensor AHC lift
18x9 +40 American Racing 201 wheel
First time I hit the road with these I thought oh no, what have I done! There is so much more pattern noise over an AT tire. Now after a few weeks, I'm totally used to it. The wife still hates it though
Traction on road has been surprisingly good, no nasty surprises in the rain. They do have more tread squirm and tend to wander more than AT tires.
If I to spend a lot of time at high speed on the highway I wouldn't run these.
They are a very tight fit and I actually had to grind down a small section of the lower bumper on the passenger side. High +40 offset is good for keeping the tire inside the wheel well, basically zero poke, and still does not rub on the frame or hit the UCA.
Obviously offroad impressions will be most important with a tire like this, I will update with dirt and snow experiences as I can
