Quick question -

Which is better for the SBC swap in a Pig?

Rams horns
rear dump

I have a set of both. I'm just curious.

Rams horns are nice, but route the exhuast under the oil filter. Only a PIA when yer changing the oil.

are you running power steering? what mounts are you using? that may effect what you can use. with stock steering and aa mounts, only ramshorns fit on the left side of my pig

i have rams horns now... if i ever fix my exaust i will use sanderson cast manifods, not to expesive and very low profile.

The engine is not in just yet. I'm using the cradle out of the Chevy as a template for the motor mounts and will fab up what ever I need.

I think, since I have the option, I will put the rams horns on and fab around them.

I used a rear dump manifold on the driver's side, and ram's horn on the passenger side. The rear dump on the driver's side gave me almost an inch of clearance between the manifold and the steering box.
