point is, comparatively different manufacturers have different height tires for the same rated size.... so beware,
(no matter what pressure you want to run them at)

Excellent, if you and @dudemancool1904 will be there, I’m in! I really want to see both of your set ups. How long do you two plan to be there?

My agent waives my appearance fee for the event if kept to a 1hr limit

I’m generally there 830-930ish +/-

Maybe that @sdnative fella will roll up as well

A lot of information and variables to take into consideration that’s for sure. I just want a tire that looks cool, doesn’t impact mpgs, drives like stock on road, and can handle moderate off road conditions. That’s not too much to ask is it? ;)

Thank you!

@Evanike @dudemancool1904 and whoever else is in San Diego

I’ll be here around 8am or so, if ya wanna roll up, talk trucks and kick tires

There’s always a random mix of cool cars and trucks

@badsamaritan is often there too, and I think he’ll be in the 40 this week.

Might as well make this an LC meet. If anyone else in SD is interested, should be a fine morning for some coffee and cruisers. Calling @Tighe @LC Mike @cruisersandiego @Expoguy

You guys will need to tell me more about this option in-person tomorrow! I was joking with my last message but sounds like there is an option out there to fit those needs haha

Basic Gist:

You will 100% feel the difference between load C and load E tires...

Load C options are very limited in the 18" flavor

The Nitto G2s were my fav tire ever

Went to buy them for the 200, but they were discontinued

So.... I went with the Coopers, which are awesome, and super quiet, but i can 100% tell they are an E

Few weeks after i got them, that @TeCKis300 fella took the wind of out my sails and posted that Nitto now makes the G3, in... You guessed it, a C load in 18"

This 100% would of been my first choice, but i am pleasantly surprised with how quiet, basically silent, the Coopers are, so they will remain, until i toast them

I tend to burn through tires quicker than most... :)

Ah, yes…. That’s it

That would of been my first choice for sure
Haven’t seen anyone here post that they’re running yet though. For ME, that’s of zero concern

I beat the bajesus out of my G2s with 2 trips up to the Arctic circle, 1k over GVWR, driving like an a hole with zero issues.

I have 100% confidence the G3 will be as good, if not better

Were you running the G2s in SL rating? If so, that’s pretty impressive

No, I had them in E (35”)

They were on a Tundra with a Four Wheel Camper and all sorts of stupid extra weight.

I learned a lot of expensive lessons about being overweight with that thing 😂

Got me to some pretty damn rad and remote places, but it ate through control arms and bearings like it was going out of style.

Hence why my 200 won’t have any of that extra weight.

I’m doing sliders for sure, but no heavy bumpers or anything of that sort, been there, done that

Great to meet some new cruiser addicts, and it’s always good to put faces to names.

Good times and hopefully we can put together some day trips to the desert soon

Per Internet rules, it didn’t happen unless there’s pics:
