How goes it fellow HDC'ers!! I dont know who's all on the FB group.. I recently attended an event in western texas at Merus Adventure Park outside of Amarillo and it was fantastic! Trails from mild to wild with a great family vibe! This was their 3rd Toyota Takeover event and it was a warm one! 98-101deg! And because of that the owner decided to change the annual Toyota event to late fall for cooler weather. So instead of waiting 17 months his team decided to hammer out 2 toyota gatherings this year to get it on pace. If anyone happens to be interested in making the short trip to the [yet to be officially named] Texas Toyota Takeover 3.5 it's going to be October 31st to November 3rd! I'll post more info as it comes if anyone is interested. Maybe setup a NM toyota convoy.

We’ve had lots of fun adventures at Merus as well!!
We attended their first LandCruiser Takeover but they did not follow up with #2.
Then we enjoyed our Solid Axle Summit Director’s meeting at Merus way back at the beginning of the park’s days and some of the directors even helped create some of the trails. Super fun adventure cause we could just cruise all over and explore and we were all alone out there on 4500 acres in the second larges canyon in the US (Palo Duro Canyon) with dirt roads all around.
Our latest adventure was just a few friends getting an amazing camp spot of the rim. It is definitely a fun place to adventure!
Actually we just met up with @POTATO LAUNCHER and camped in the Palo Duro State Park and did some hiking.

A fall adventure is in our future, just not sure where yet but will keep this in mind! Thanks for the heads up.
