Anyone carry a 34' or 35' spare on a kaymar bumper with a kamar swing out on the back of a 6X? Pics? Fit?

TIA

Cool, thanks. Looks to me like the left light is still visiable. Is that a 35X12.50? Does the swing out seem to handle the weight ok? How long have you had it on there?

I just got my hands on an old style Kaymar and a 35 spare barely leaves room for the left brakelight. It's a close fit but still looks legal. As far as how sturdy it is I feel it could be a bit stiffer. It's a heavy duty bumper, you'll notice it because lifting it alone and intalling it alone was a pain. I can take pics if you want to see old style, let me know.

The tail light is still visible and it held up to the weight just fine. I have had similar spares on there (including a HEAVY split rim with 34" tire) for about 6 years with no issues. I actually just sold the Kaymar for other reasons I didn't like it but the swing out was never a problem. I just don't like how far out it hangs and hampers departure angles.

Thanks randy, I think the pic above and some measurements a friend of mine is doing is enough info for me to decide.

The departure angle is my biggest concern too. If it bothers me that much I guess I'll sell it later on.

I am in the same boat. I hope it doesn't hit every rock on the trail. If it does become a rock finder then I think I may do the same. Only time and some off roading will tell.
