305/70's with no lift?

Been reading through posts and just wanted to verify that some of yall are running these with no lift...............

yep. xterrains, never have rubbed. I'd recomend geting the OME lift to get added height to help clear breakover angles on the trails...and the 305's look bigger with a lift.

yep, the OME lift is definitely on the list.......but I have to buy tires NOW. They are dagerously bald.

yeah I was in the same situation when I bought my 305's and that's before I joined ih8mud, so I just eyed it and figured I wanted 305's and I'd make them fit. so what tires are you looking at and where are you buying from?

Ive got the dueler 285's on mine and they are 33" tall like a 305 just a little narrower...made a big difference in the looks department....going OME one day as soon as I get the money...look under the hi lift mount post to see pics.

Bear80 you vehicle looks very good, I would likre to ask about the spoiler over the rear cargo window. Does it keep rain and dust off the rear most window when driving?

I was just thinking I'd get some BFG AT's...A friend of mine has a Costco card so I thought I'd check there but their website looks like they don't carry 305's. I went to NTB and their's are nearly $210 each! I wish I had bought some of 4 wheel parts tires when they were having the buy 3 get 1 free sale.

Bear80- it's sad that I noticed this, I know, but why are your hubcaps different in the 2 pics you sent? The set in the bottom pic looks like the old-type cap? Did you repaint yours or switch to the older caps or what?

The bottom pic is more recent. I got bored one day and took some extra gray paint I had and "customized" the caps. Kinda random that I had matching gray paint...sorry used it all and I can't remember the brand or color number.

Yeah my 4runner doesn't have one and it gets tons of dust when I'm on the trails, the spoiler does help out on those dusty roads....as far as the street I can only tell alittle bit of a difference, but it does help in the rain, my 4runner gets so bad I run the wiper like crazy but I rarely use the wiper on the 80.

dry fly....yep never had them rub, stuffed full in the rear and turned on the stops up front.

and plenty of front clearance but lift is in the future.
