What did it suck at?
Thanks for questioning me. Thinking back, it probably was one of the best 3 row off-road suvs before the newer 250/300 platforms arrived.

There are a lot of things I didn't like:
No AWD
Suspension travel not good, see pic
Small fuel range for size/did not get claimed mpg
Pano roof let in too much heat
Getting in to 3rd row was not easy for kids
No storage
Length to leg room ratio was not good for passengers
No confidence in engine build quality

I'd rather the posers keep it up, if it wasn't for the 95% that don't use it like we do, we'd probably not have the option of a triple locked LC300 in the US.
I know (and agree) with what you are saying, but we still technically don't. If I scream "LC300 GR Sport" loud enough will Toyota hear? A man can dream...

Why not start a thread where people will commit to ordering? It really wouldn’t be that hard to import, just paperwork and redtape intensive.

Not really, there is a thread here discussing it and a guy that knows how to do it posted up (search keyword Ferrari and it may come up.)

Its just someone needs to profit off the first one. Because after that its really easy.

Probably need the LX600 Canister Pump module on the gas tank and some other misc. But it may be ok without it.

Here’s the thing though. Mud is an enthusiast forum. 99% of LX700h OT buyers will not have heard of this site, much less post on this site.

My point is essentially, if we have a thread called 300 series pictures, on an enthusiast website, don’t post pictures of your 300 series in a parking lot. This is an enthusiast forum, let’s have some fun. If you’re a mall Cruiser, don’t bother posting.

IYKYK, UPS Store gorge is the next yuppie stop up from the End of The Universe. As explained by Lewis Black.

Shortened for the learning impared.

Anyway not to debate but some of us actually do need these day to day.

Not to get into too many details but I work in real estate development and have active forestry property.

Outside of an F250, this literally is the best vehicle to me.

And funnier yet is people wanting 300s. The LX is the premium version everyone wants across the world.

Come with me on a big game hunt in Asia and we are either in an LX or LC. LX570 is the go to since its a V8 (the 200 has a V6). We take them places you wouldn’t imagine and on snow tires, no lockers.

We took my friends 105 once (triple locked 100 on an 80 chassis). He has a very very nice one. Once we needed the lockers it was always just a simple “pack it in and get horses” scenario.

The lockers are cool and all. The top of the line Lexus by far. I just don’t see myself using them. I see myself avoiding anything that would require them.

Nice to see a Houston crew. My Nori Green OT just hit Long Beach so it should be here in a few weeks. The old GX just couldn’t handle the mean streets of the heights and galleria so it’s getting retired to the ranch to live out its days chasing pigs. I’ll post some pics when I get it.

I love nori green, not that common.

I originally wanted a nori/palamino luxury but they are far and few between.

I may have seen @Vicgeorge at the redlight that was out yesterday at Voss? Have been seeing his Earth OT or someone else's around there sometimes.

Can’t wait to see it!

Wasn’t me. Based on the movement from the area dealers, there must be at least half a dozen or so in the area…

Oh, yeah. Nori green OT is what I want to see here (and in person). You bourgeoisie-inside-the-loop-galleria area guys are privileged. We here out-west-memorial area peasants are yet to see an OT in person. I keep scanning the streets and nothing. 😅

Should have one on the ground in Houston by end of month.

I was heading to the market to buy my Gray Pupon. Every other car there is a new OT.

But seriously the 200 is still the yuppie mobile in my neighborhood. Me and another guy have a 600, and he somehow tracked me down to ask about my wheels on Facebook. Via a realtor’s sign at a jobsite I believe. Small world.
