Interesting find……

Stoney Pass

Interestingly, a 3/4 ton Ford was stuck up the trail off of a ledge so I jumped in the 200 to go and see if we could help with recovery. It’s difficult to explain, but the 200 is like driving a 4x4 and the 300 just glides through, over, and around everything like a hot knife though butter.

Fantastic photos! I agree with your sentiment.

I'd love to hear a post trip report on rubbing with the TRD wheels and the 35s. I've been eyeballing them but have been hesitate to pull the trigger on those or just get a set of +40mm wheels from Method, Icon, or Evo Corse.

I took some cursory photos while wifey went potty (thus in access mode). The caked mud is from the previous day. Not much liner kissing on Stoney pass…

Don’t have a glam crisis in your LX

Nori the most beautiful car color out there. No ragerts.
No Ragrets. Really? None at all? ;) Seriously though, I completely agree. If I didn't get such an amazing deal on my Atomic Silver, I would have stuck it out and searched for a Nori Green one. I think that with bronze wheels is a perfect combination. Maybe it's because I started driving in the '90's when Forest Green was so popular. It reminds me of that.

After months of researching and asking tons of stupid questions, I finally pulled the string (do you pull the string or the trigger?) and got my wheels and tires. I went with the government issue Vossen HF6-4s in Matte Gunmetal and Nitto Terra Grappler G3s in 275/60/20. I'll have to get some better pictures because these don't do it justice. It looks much better in person...at least I think it looks pretty bad ass. I was hoping the gray would have been just a little bit lighter, but they do look amazing in the daylight. It almost has a bronzy (is that a word?) tint to it when the sun hits it in the right way. Anyway, the G3s ride amazing, and I hear no road noise...at least for the 5 miles I've driven so far.
