Greetings, I have the 3pin to 4pin Alternator adapter for anyone doing an Alternator upgrade on their LC/LX. This does work for other Toyota vehicles as well which I have tried to summarize AFAIK on the bottom of the page. I am selling these on ebay as well. But please order from here if possible as ebay kills on commission.

Specs -
  • 3-4pin Adapter
  • ~6.5in (~16.5cm) in length
  • #3 Pin from the 4pin adapter is not used (Yellow wire in this picture - Although the 3rd pin wire color may change)
  • Used 20AWG Tinned Copper Silicone Coated Wires
  • Connected as standard Toyota/Denso pin out (see below)
  • PET Braided Sleeve Cover
  • Made in USA with imported parts
Price = $40 Shipped in US only at the movement (not sure how much international shipping cost so cannot ship out)

Please PM me for ordering and with any questions, suggestions or modifications. I had make these on my spare time.

I accept Zelle or PayPal.

Thanks

P.S. - As mentioned I now have my Big 3 Upgrade - Grounding Wire upgrade kit for the 100 series LC/LX- Here's the link to that

Interesting!
I need to replace an alternator in my '96, can you point me to a thread that spoon feeds me said upgrade?

@Pacer I may not have an exact link. But I think you'll find the info you are looking for on this link - How to Upgrade Alternator for 80 Series. There is 27+ pages on on how to do upgrade. Hopefully you should find it there.. Good luck.

Btw If you are thinking of upgrading your wiring as well (Big 3 wiring) I am working on providing that kit on here as well. LMK we can work something out as I need measurements for 80 series LC.

Hello. Looking into ordering your 3 to 4 pin connector as well as the 3 grounding wire/ alternator wire kit. Have a 99 LX470. Original 24 year old alternator went out in September. Replaced with bosche as none of reman were available. It’s been working fine for two months except today in 45 mins of Toronto stop and go traffic my volt meter plugged inside of cabin began to show it dropping down to 12.6 and then would go back to 13.8-14 ish where it usually is. Well that’s as high as volt meter goes so maybe it’s even in high 14s usually. Anyway the drop to 12.6 was unusual and hadn’t happen at all in 2 months. So a bit worried and would like a denso one again. I’m in Canada so US one’s wouldn’t send so previously went with Bosch. For you if you can’t send 3 to 4 pin connector and ground wiring kit/ alternator wire kits to Canada I can have you send to my US location. Or can look up shipping rate to Toronto. I’ve had a brake master booster cylinder from LA come via fed ex and that was $45 usd shipping only and that was a very heavy unit so thinking your’s from Atlanta should be less, we could work out shipping IF you don’t mind to Canada. Otherwise can do to USA address. Anyway I’m thinking about ordering a 130 amp sequoia one or LX one. And all those have 4 pins. Well at least sequoia does. Can you please send me info? And if you prefer I go with the LX 130 amp or the sequoia. I’m hoping pulley size is same as 99 LX. Thanks a lot. I’ll try private messsging you also.

Also,
1. Alternator Amps to pick correct fuse amp necessary for your installation: 130amp
2. Do you have standard Toyota OEM Battery terminal? I believe I have a standard 1999 LX470 terminal.
3. Is there any other customization that is necessary (this may cost more depending on customization)
4. Please reference 3 to 4 pin connector AND B3U-FULLSET-LCLX-100
