3" Downey Lift w/ 31 BFG AT

I just finished the install this past weekend which went pretty smooth. The install is about a to job. I am a newb when it comes to working on trucks. So if I was able to do this anyone can do it. The truck rides a little more stiffer now than before but much smoother. The addition of new 31 BFG AT helps a great deal too! I especially like the new to me SR5 wheels that I picked up from mud member Haddock. Thanks Todd for the wheels!

any hidden cost?

looks great. My neighbor has a 4runner and he wants me to install a similar (3 in) lift. Did you have to lengthen the driveshafts?
how about the steering any issues there?
brake lines?
Is the kit you used just a bolt on and go?

No did not have to lengthen. Complete bolt on.

No issues at all

Same stock brake lines

Is the kit you used just a bolt on and go?

Yes, bolt on

So is that the rancho upper arms 3" lift up front or just the 3" springs in the rear?

Just the 3" Downey Rears.

Ah, as I've heard with the top on you don't get a full 3" but it did set it up nice and level. I've had the 2" Downey on my pickup and it's hard to beat the price but I think in the long run I should have put my money into somting else......like the chevy spring swap I'm doing this weekend. Lots of talk about it on Pirate and not much here so expect a full write up soon!
