calamaridog Joined Jun 6, 2003 Messages 2,602 Location Cuyamaca, CA and Las Vegas, NV Aug 16, 2005 #4 Tim, 1) I would suggest a motor treatment, such as SEAFOAM, to get rid of carbon build up. 2) Check the MAF and see if it is clean. If not, try to clean it with electrical contact cleaner. If that doesn't work, a new one may be in order. 3) Replace PCV valve. Does the power loss ever occur during acceleration?
