2nd Crossmember, 2nd thoughts

So I get up today with the plan all set to build a second crossmember for my 700r4 / 203 / splitcase. After taking the 203 and split case apart again

I start mocking up what I want...boy does that hang down loooow ....So now back to teh drawing board...The whole point of SOA and 37's is to get the truck upa nd now the second crossmember will be bringing it back down to earth....So plan 2...is ?????

Tim, without going out and crawling under mine, is there room to mount a crossmember above the case and tie into the frame rails. It doesn't have to be extremely beefy, just something that helps support the weight of the cases during big hits and such. Just a thought.
