2LTE Heads - Made in China

I was reading on an Australian LC forum about a guy who had a done a swap but the head was done in only 4ooo Km's and he just replaced the engine, what is your experience on the EBAY HEADS ? , how much is an original head from Toyota ? ...... This is for a 2LTE

@GTSSportCoupe is a great resource for these engines. Specific to your question I would avoid any secondary market head and stick to original Toyota. In the case of the 2LTE you want the updated head or a 3L head and not an original 1990-1992 version

Everything I've heard about the Chinese head's is negative. I'd stay well away from them.

The upgraded stronger Toyota OEM cylinder head that you need is part number: 11101-54121. You can get it and the associated parts from jdmparts.ca . They're good to deal with. I think you're looking at $1500-2000 in parts or so.

Don't cheap out, you'll regret it.

Thanks ..... GTS Sports Coupe, I checked with Toyota here and they are asking 2300 + Tax for the head jdmparts.ca looks like a better option.... Thanks again

Not to say they can actually get it. But, they list it online.
