4Ruster
2LT Sufferer
2L non turbo. I'm noticing above a certain amount of throttle the truck stops accelerating and spews coal out the back. I realize this is a lack of air getting in. This is a problem a turbo would solve (I am in the middle of collecting turbo parts for a swap eventually). However in the time being, it will stay N/A. I'm just trying to figure out ways to allow more air to get in. I did take the intake tube off coming from the headlight area to the airbox as I'm missing the front part that reaches fresh air, I haven't tested it out, but I assume less piping will allow for more air to come in easier. Also would I be able to swap in a bigger air box? Perhaps a cummins air box? I might have to sacrifice my second battery, but it would allow more air.
