I have a 2F short block, head, and accessories that I received with a tub I bought awhile back. I was told it was running when pulled to have rebuilt but they went with a 350 swap instead. What is the block number? This is not the engine to the 1979 I bought from you by chance is it? If you found the motor I want to buy it.

from the above pics, it is not a true 79. it could be the hold over 78 sold until Dec 1978 which was a 79 model year but did not have the changes that came about in Jan 1979
