Hey guys, me again. Anyone know of an easy way to upgrade my 1bbl Asin to a 2bbl. I have a stock F, which I plan on upgrading to a hyped up 2F in a few months. Is there a modi plate or something so I can use a 2bbl on my F for now. I'm trying to keep her as Toyota as possible, so I don't want to go to a Weber. Nardek.com has some new Asin 2 bbl carbs for 2F's that I'm interested in so any help would be great!!!!

You just need a 2bbl manifold to run a 2bbl carb. The same amnifold will fit either an F or 2F Engine. I will have one available in about 2 weeks, but if you are going to a 2F, just be patient!!!
If you still want the manifold, I want $25 + shipping. Hit me direct, but my advice is, take a deep breath, count to ten, and wait for the 2F.

Are you sure you have a 1 BBL carb? The last 1 BBL
was put on the F engine in late 1968. My '68 is
the changeover year -- I have the 2 BBL manifold
but a 1 BBL carb. There is an adapter at the base
of the carb which allows the carb to sit on the
2 BBL manifold. This is the way it came from Toyota.
Another strategy for using up all the old parts they
had laying around I guess.
Frankly, I don't think an upgrade to the 2 BBL carb
alone will make a huge performance difference.
