i am now seriously onto theese. Was supposed to get 35"s in MTR Kevlar or KM2, but KM2's are wicked expensive here, and really a bad thing to ship. The "new" MTR's the same, and sold nowhere in Norway.
I guess i'll give them a try, as i get them super cheap...halvf the price than BF's or GY. (and everything else) The feedback gives me 90% happy customers, and almost everyone says good bang for bucks.
First thing is siping, then maybe studs when things get slippery.

If you want to drastically reduce the life of your tire, sipe it. DONT SIPE IT!!!!!

THe first initial traction of a siped tire is better then a non siped. BUT!!! That goes away drastically.

Well I had them for about almost a year now, and I have used them in all types of terrain, I have used them on very rocky terrain in the mountains and no problems, they grabb very good on the rocks, I have used them in deep sand and no problems at all.I have used them on the rain and they handle very good!
In the snow they did very well!

They are very easy to balance and stay balance, not too noisey, but louder them my old allterrain's.
They are wearing very well.
Overall I am very pleased with this tire, that I am planning on installing them on my off-road trailer!

Are those Pro Comp Wheels 16 x 8 with 6 x 5.5 center? Is the backspace 4"
Want to make sure as I am pricing out wheels and I really like the way these look, even more seeing them on a rig.

Is everyone running the RT03's still digging their Hankooks? Any negative feedback? I'm ready for some new shoes and thinking about these in the 295 flavor. Although 315 Duratracs are tempting me...

Bought a set of 33x12.5x15s for the FJ60. At 80k miles they still have a reasonable amount of tread left but I will not buy another set because they're a poor tire for mud. The sidewalls are showing more degradation after 3 years than the older BFGs or Goodyear Wranglers on the other Cruisers. I initially went with the Hankooks because at the time they were more reasonably priced, not so now as they've gone up quite a bit.

^^^It looks like you can still find the RT03's for under $200, but that's not significantly cheaper than other alternatives. 80k wow!!! I'm lucky if I get 3 years out of my tires. What are you going to replace them with then?

Seriously, give the ATM's a look as well. I just got them put on my rig, 315's. great tires! Up here the ATM's cost more than the MT's!!

80000 miles!!!!! I'd be happy with 40000kms frm a set of muds! These don't look as aggressive as STTs or MTZs but I like the size. Bit bigger than my 305/70 but not as high as 315/75s.

And I think I can get em for $300AUD compared to $450 for coopers/mickey thompsons.

Seems almost everyone seems happy with em!

Well mine are still going strong, I just took a trip thru Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, no problems, a little vivration at 65 to 70mph, need to re-balance. I also added them to my trailer!

I love the tires but Discount has tried 4 different times to balance them but they still vibrate about about 64mph. Anybody else have trouble balancing them?

Had this same issue with a set of Hankook AT type tires. Lived with it until the tires died. I've had two sets of Hankooks and that has been two sets too many.

You guys tried beads for balancing? I use 8oz or the seamless AirSoft pellets in each tire and there are no vibes ever. Never need to worry about weights falling off and rebalancing. 315/75/16 KM2's.

I've had no balancing issues, I got two sets. 35s on the hj 60, and 33s on the lj 73. Love them both, but now they are pretty worn on the 60, can't tell how many miles, but I think I bought them in 10 probably 11. And I screw in studs during winter.

I do not have too many miles, maybe 28k but I have lots of cracks on my tires, it seems like the rubber is getting very hard!

I think I have about 5 years overall with this tires, and they are out of warranty! Bridgstone warranted a 6 year old tire because of the OZONE CRACKS! Let's see what HANKOOK says!
