Those look great and nice rig! I just ordered my wheels (Method, 18", ET25) for my 16 LX and am trying to figure out how much tire a can fit with minimal lift and plastic trimming only, I am hoping 295/70/18 but that might be pushing it...

Any reason for going away from KO2s? I've run those on most of my vehicles and the only other experience is a set of Wildpeaks on my Tacoma. No complaints on the Wildpeaks, but the KO2 is just a better looking tire.
I did have issues with high road force on a recent set of K02’s and the KO3 isn’t available yet, but largely I wanted something a little different as I have KO2’s on most everything else.

Probably can’t go wrong with either brand as price is essentially the same.

Thanks!

Yes 1.25” wheel spacers.

The tires fit well, there is lots of suspension set up in this truck.
So no KDSS rub? Are those OEM +60 mm offset wheels?

Good catch!! You are correct!, 295/70/18, I considered 285/75/18, that is what I ran on my prior built 200, but opted for the 295.

I was checking the availability in other sizes and had that on my mind or phone typing is always a challenge for my thumbs!
Nice setup!
I have a 2013 w/ the black version of those wheels. Just had a 2" OME BP51 installed. Was looking into the 285/70/18 tires but wasn't too clear if gearing needs to be adjusted with the slightly larger tires. Did you have to do anything with the gearing?

No need for regearing that I have discovered, for my use the 200 has more than enough power to overcome the tire size.

*Full disclosure, I drive a 40 or an 80 more frequently, when I drive the 200, it seems like a race car.

@desmocruiser after you've put some miles on it, how would you review it? Any changes? Try it in different seasons or conditions?

Most curious about road noise, wet performance, and MPG's.
The road noise and MPG are about the same as the other 200’s in the family with BFG AT’s and quieter than my previous with Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Unfortunately, due to other obligations, I postponed my West trip this Summer and haven’t used the truck yet as I hoped, only added ~1000 miles and none in any wet weather to speak of.

It will be interesting to see how these tires perform with 20K miles on them, in my experience that has been where BFG AT’s and Toyo MT’s perform as well as new and the Ridge Grapplers picked up additional road noise.

Was going to pull the trigger on these this week only to find out they are not snow peak rated like the ATIIIs. Went ahead and ordered the ATs instead. Too bad b/c I love the look of the RT Trail, but winter is coming!

I’m late to the party, but just did similar setup on my 200. The HE wheels and 1.25” spacers combined give an offset of around 28mm. Plenty enough room to clear the KDSS arm with 295/70 without having to relocate the arm forward. With a blocky sidewall you might “polish” the arm but nothing detrimental. If you do experience rub, you may have to have your caster adjusted to 2.5+ degrees. I’m 2.6 left and 2.9 right.
