Firefighter stickers right? If so, then ya. He's on here every once in awhile, can't remember his user name though. The rig is holding up great, the only thing was some clutch bearing that need replacing, but Toyota did it under warranty (though they blamed it on mud and water:D)

I have to say, you have very good taste in picking out mods. He has been loving every minute of having it and i have enjoyed riding in it and wheeling with him.

EDIT:
His user is mhslacrosse22

It was the throwout bearing. Common problem on man trans FJs.I tried to get the local dealer to replace it but they kept blaming the linkage and wouldnt. Cant blame it on mud/water as it is a faulty trans casting where the bearing rides. If the trans isnt replaced it will start chirping again. Tell him to watch it and the minute is starts making noise again to take it back as a new bearing isnt the true fix. Tell him to email/PM me and Ill send him more info on it.

Sorry. Hi-Jack over..

These may be better shots. They were on Pro Comp wheel and Spiderteax spacers so it sat wide. I actually rubbed the inside of the rear flares at full stuff.

STT

Got my STTs, 2006. Travelled 21000kms, mainly off road.

They are great tires.

Here are some pix of my 285x75x16 . . .

Those look great.

I think I'm gunna get the bfg at. After looking at my driving style. I'm 95% on road. I need a tire that'll last 40k+ ( if you treat the a/t right). I just can't justify getting an M/T yet, I'll have to see if the a/t is aggressive enough.

For another thread- when I get the bfg's.

Any comments on the bfg a/t On the 100's?

BFG A/Ts are decent tire. Kinda pricey from what I remember.

FWIW those Coopers I had were just as street friendly as the BFG ATs were. Another one I forgot about was the Hankook Dynapro MT. Very street friendly and nicely priced.

After having the STTs I will just run a decent MT (STT, Hankook etc.). You never have to worry about not having an agressive enough tire.
