God I can't believe I am asking the most newbie question of all.................but I am :D

Any fitment issue running a 285/75/16 on a stock hieght 100 series? will they rub? front or rear?

Michael Adams, gave me his impression on them(he didnt mention rubbing)........but am looking to hear from a few others(not that I don't trust you Michael) I know on dads ford truck he went from a 275/70 to s 285/75 and has some rubbing on the front when at full turn

Prolly looking the BFG AT or the Bridgestone Revo.

Don't have a lick of trouble on 285/75's. Also, I can lower the suspension on the LX 2 inches for ease of ingress and egress (for my grandma ;) ) and the tires STILL don't rub at full lock. I talked with Christo before purchasing and he seemed to think 295's would be the point where rubbing may occur.

Hey John, now your screen name comes to life. Pimp~100 series :) You should be able to run them without problem. You will notice the power loss and I have not figured the speedo correction yet.

and the 100 has the bling bling gold emblems ::) and damn it........they are growing on me ;)

Power drop? dude......I have been driving f, 2f's and 3fe's for years...........notice the power loss in the 100?..........hahahahahahahahahahahaha :D

Yep I am ordering up some 285's monday, Discount is giving me $250 for the non name new 275s that are on it now.......beats stackin em up in the yard ;)

Don't you think the same spedo gear that works in the 80 would work in the 100, same trany(as latter 80's).....not sure if the t-case is the same. But really the speedo change doesn't worry me, I run oversized tires on all my Cruisers..........but sure if the speedo can be corrected........then thats cool :)

Don't suppose anyone has pics of 285's on a stock 100?

No pics on a stock 100. Which tires did you choose and did you order four plus a spare?

I havn't yet(been busyish), was gonna do the BFG's, a spare?...........I am too cheap to buy a matching spare ;) actaully I think I have a used 285 off of the old mans ford I can run.
