Is there a noticeable difference?

There’s much more options on the 275 vs 285 hence it’s cheaper.

Going on a 200 with a 2” lift.

Pros and Cons?

There is no doubt that the 285 looks so much better and fill the wheel wells especially with a 2” lift. I run both these sizes. The 285s are noticeably bigger; heavier and more expensive. You can feel the weight penalty which is generally about 5-10 pounds more.
275s are lot cheaper and easier to find with 10x as many options to choose from. There are some 275’s that are within spitting distance of the 285’s. Examples are the Cooper Rugged Trek, Kenda Klever RT.
If you find the tire make model you want in 285 I don’t think you’d ever regret going with this size over the 275.

Here are two similar shots showing the difference between a 275 and 285. Hard to tell as the Kendas are on the beefier side for a 275.

LT275- Kenda Klever RT 33.43x11.22
LT285-Yokohama G003 33.9x11.4

I’m looking at the nitto and Toyo for the 285
