Will a 22re intake setup bolt onto a 22r head and block???

I'd like to see the answer to this. I've always been told their the same motor.
And if there not that makes my spare motor useless.

I'll have to do a little more research, I am picking up a 88 4 runner this weekend that has a 22re in it, but it blew a head gasket and the guy pulled the EFI stuff off to put on a 22R that is in good shape. Trying to figure out if I should make it a running vehicle or part it out, would like to swap in the 22r in and bolt the EFI parts to it and make it a running vehicle.

Another option would be to find a good running 22re and just swap that in.

yep, read that this morning, the guy got a 22r that is from an 85 so everything should bolt up without issue. We'll see what happens, haven't even really seen the truck yet, picking it up Saturday, if the frame is shot I will be parting it out. A picture

looks like a sweet truck man;)...i have an extra 22re cyl. head and intake if it would help at all

that rig is begging for a SAS, 37's and an exo:grinpimp:

It is begging for a lot of things, but it comes down to what the wifey lets me :D since I already have the Tacoma built. We'll see what happens, I'll keep you in mind for the head and intake.
