Confirmed with local dealer that they won't delete the moonroof even though it's an option on the website. Basically, get on the list, take what we get.

I have to decide what I care about more. The only reason I'm even considering it is to get out of the hybrid, but I hate moonroofs. Need to think about what's more important to me. I don't have any real problems with the hybrid but at 18K miles, I still don't really like it.
If you can swing it, check out the LX700h OT...it's the hybrid with V6.

I'm considering swapping mine out for it when things stabilize a bit.

Gotcha, I'm afraid I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. I really don't want the moonroof, and I doubt many of them are coming with that deleted.
There’s one for sale in Colorado that doesn’t have sunroof. I think it’s Jackson’s. Edit- he marked it as sold. Guess it’s gone

There's a used one available (as of this morning) for sale at Lexus of Peoria that doesn't have a moonroof. It's a 2024 white OT with 31,922 miles; i traded it in a couple weeks ago. It has a few mods to it (e.g., roof rack; exterior window molle panels; front recovery points). I do a lot of overlanding in remote areas and with the engine recall uncertainty and potential for engine failure i decided to get a vehicle with long history of reliability (i.e., GX460). Will drive the 460 for a few years then upgrade to an LX700h OT if they don't have any engine issues.

Has anyone bought one of these? I see a bunch of them on the road. Chime in if you have one!
I picked my wife’s 2025 Overtrail Plus last month. I (and her) really love this car, the Nori Green is getting a lot of looks. On another note what are the chances that the new Land Cruiser will be available in the US market with the Twin Turbo V6? I would consider trading my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 for one of them…

We've heard the Hybrid might be coming to the GX next year, so that's another option. My parents recently picked up a Premium Land Cruiser, and they are pretty happy with it. I am looking forward to getting some time with it soon, as I have considered picking up a second GX550 Overtrail or the new LC250 for my next daily.

still no promising word on arrival. Last I spoke to dealer looking like mid-feb. shop is filling up with parts. BP51, wheels, sliders, and misc crap we blow money on…..

Really looking forward to it getting here so I can get it all installed. I think it should look BA with 35’s.

OK, latest update. Should be here around the 17th. Then off to PPF for 5 days and then off to Goode Offroad for 5 days, then I will actually get to drive it.

Update: Truck arrived and I took delivery on Valentine's Day. Monday it went to PPF 10mm Xpel on front clip and both pillars, up to front edge of the sunroof, dopwn both sides and upper roof rails all the ay back to the rear hatch. Should be finished on Friday and then off to Goode Offroad for the BP51 System, Westcott rack, scene lights, Method 703's in bronze, and whatever else that I can't remember right now.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Patiently waiting on more pics and feedback on the initial build.

After looking at several GX's and LC's running larger tires, I'm constantly amazed at how far the full size spares hang down in the back. They look like full diaper on a toddler. What I did on my 80 series is run the narrowest and tallest tire I could fit and put it on a 6" wide trailer wheel to keep it as tucked up and out of the way as possible. It's basically a 9.5" wide super swamper, but it gives me the most clearance possible and comes within 1" of my 35" tires that are on all 4 corners. Perhaps the most important metric is how many times I've put the spare tire on my vehicles after 1.5 million miles of driving with thousands of miles of that being off-road. That number is exactly zero. Although I have plugged half a dozen tires over the years due to nails/screws. Once we get the GX, I'm going to do exactly the same and find a "spare" that is skinny and close in size to keep it tucked up and out of the way. If I ever need to run the spare, it will be close enough in size to get me to the local tire store for a replacement, but honestly I'll likely never lower it...ever.

I have plugged many tires, definitely more than I have had to swap for a spare. That said, I had to swap to the spare twice on the last GX and once on the 200 Series. The sting of the last one is still fresh in my memory lol. Definitely get the spare as close as possible to the diameter of the size you're running on the GX. Toasting your drivetrain after using a spare the wrong size on a full-time 4WD vehicle will only add insult to injury.

I added some scene lights!
