Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find anything searching the forums. Looking to replace some cracked wood trim in my 2018 LX but not finding many options online. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did this last weekend after gorilla glue attempt to repair. The glue help down the area I patched but started to raise on each side. Looking back, I would’ve just removed the Bubinga wood and installed the wrap bc it would’ve been easy easier to remove the glue.

So ultimately you just popped off each panel, removed the wood from the panel and then cut the new wrap to fit each panel? Is there adhesive already on the new wrap you installed or did you have to apply some when installing? Great job BTW...it looks great!

Did you hydrodip that?

I did the same with black "leather texture" vinyl wrap. No adhesive used, just cling the vinyl onto the surface. Primary reason was wife griping about sun glare in her eyes, but I do think it looks better than the "wood"

Nicely done! Can you detail your process a little more for me? I've been looking for a solution for my '11 LX. Did you just pop off the trim piece and trash it, then lay down the vinyl wrap? Or are there pieces you removed, covered in vinyl wrap and then re-installed? Also, where did you get the wrap and how close of a match is it to the original bubinga?
