Hi all,
So I am ready to pull the trigger on a winch " Hidden Winch " and would appreciate some input from you all.
I have done some research here and also seen some builds that Eric has done.
I do like the Warn Zeon Platinum series but it seems that you need to do the relocation solenoid kit with them.
So if anyone can give me some advice on what winches I can use " quality winch with wireless remote " that can be installed that does not require a solenoid relocation kit and it compatible with the trail Taylor bracket. I'm also on the fence between 9500 lbs or 12000 lbs. Bear in mind i do not hammer on my LC and the winch will prob only get used a few times per year until I move back home to Durango CO full time, as of now I am East coast but have managed to get buried in mud 2 times this year while hunting and a winch would have saved me both time so I', holding off my sliders and doing the winch instead until I get out to let Slee instal them.
I plan to buy and use the trail Taylor mounting bracket unless there is another one I can use that I am not aware of. I will do the install myself but am looking for an estimated install time frame for a very mechanically inclined person
Thanks all, appreciate it as always here.
