2018 LC Remote Start? (1 Viewer)

OK< so we added a pretty sweet 18 LC200 to our aresenal. That makes 2 in the family. The other is a 17. My question is remote start. I have dug through the OM and the ol interwebs only to find the typical "3 lock button presses" trick, but this new LC won't even respond with anything but locking of the doors. how in the world do you enable the remote start on this vehicle?

First, look for stickers in the door jamb or engine bay that state it is equipped with remote start. Not all LC/LX came with it installed. If you find proof that it is actually installed, you may need to enable it in techstream in case it has somehow been disabled.

If it is equipped with remote start, sometimes it is just a timing issue., two rapid pushes and hold on the third. I find that I often have to try several times before it works.

Mine had none of that ... learned because the remote start manual was in the glove box.

I believe it is a port installed option. My 2020HE does not have it. My older 2018 Base had it (with the stickers in the engine bay).
